Status of compliance with requirements

The website www.nordbau.de is largely compliant with the requirements of the BFSG (Federal Ordinance on Barrier-Free Access to Information via Electronic Communication).

The technical basis of the website, including navigation, contrast ratios, keyboard operability, and semantic HTML structure, meet the applicable requirements for digital accessibility.

Non-accessible content

  • Some downloadable documents (e.g. PDF files, ZIP archives, site plans, or logos) have not been created in an accessible format.
  • External content such as the ticket shop, embedded maps (e.g. Google Maps), virtual tours or media portals are not within our sphere of influence. The respective providers are responsible for their barrier-free design.

If you are unable to access any content, please contact us directly by phone or email. We will be happy to help you or provide you with the required information in an accessible format .

Evaluation method

The accessibility of this website was carried out as part of a self-assessment process. Various automated and visual testing tools were used to identify and minimize technical and content barriers .

Testing tools used:

  • Eye-Able® analysis tools
  • WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool
  • Accessible Web Chrome Extension

Further measures to improve accessibility

We aim to continuously improve barrier-free access to www.nordbau.de. To this end:

  • we regularly check central page content and navigation elements,
  • raise awareness among editors and developers involved about barrier-free web design, and
